York Land Trust
Mission Statement
The York Land Trust is a member-supported, nonprofit organization dedicated to conserving and protecting lands of ecological, historic, scenic, agricultural and cultural significance in the greater York Maine area for the benefit of all.
York Education Foundation
Our Mission
The York Education Foundation is independent, non-profit organization of community volunteers committed to excellence in education. Our mission is to provide funding for innovative and challenging programs in the York Public Schools. We strive to enhance and broaden community support for public education.
White Pine Programs
Our Mission
To create shared outdoor experiences that awaken curiosity, build personal resilience, and cultivate caring relationships with self, community, and the natural world.
York Soccer Club
Our Mission
To provide a fun, safe, youth soccer program for our York community, dedicated to:
- Developing soccer skills for children ages 4-14
- Creating and maintaining a healthy competitive playing environment
- Encouraging respect and appreciation for teammates, opponents, coaches, referees, community, parents and self
- Teaching and Demonstrating life skills such a as perseverance, teamwork, sportsmanship and a positive attitude while promoting passion for the game of soccer.
York Youth Football
Our Philosophy
The philosophy of the York Youth Football program remains very simple: Safety, Skills & Fun. We love football and we look forward to an exciting year, our continued commitment as a feeder program for York High School, and building a partnership with the New England Patriots Alumni Association.
York Little League
Our Mission
The objective of the York Little League shall be to implant firmly in the children of the community the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage, and respect for authority, so that they may be well adjusted, stronger, and happier children and will grow to be good, decent, healthy, and trustworthy citizens.
York Ready for Climate Action
We are a group of passionate volunteers from around the York community, dedicated to increasing awareness about climate change and making urgent reductions in emissions for the benefit of our community and our planet!
